IN PICTURES: Lebanon's Hizbullah Marks Arba'in, Forty-day Commemoration of Imam Husayn's Martyrdom

The Lebanese Twelver Shi'i party Hizbullah (Hezbollah, Hizballah) is marking the forty-day commemoration of the "martyrdom" of the third Shi'i Imam, Husayn bin 'Ali, in battle against the numerically superior army of the Umayyad caliph Yazid I in 680 C.E. As part of its commemoration the party has produced cyber graphic art, seen in this post.

The party's artwork for 'Ashura for this year can be seen in a PREVIOUS POST.
